MARCH 2026
We co-organized an incredible hackathon in San Francisco with XR Bootcamp and over 200+ hackers! The event featured 40+ robots on-site, PICO devkits, and judges from Google, Meta, ByteDance, and Niantic.
FELLOWSHIP
We partnered with XR Bootcamp to provide free XR Design Fellowships valued at $1,800 to our student ambassadors. Members got guidance from mentors at Meta, Microsoft, and Samsung.
WORKSHOPS
We hosted free virtual workshops open to anyone, teaching Unity, Unreal Engine, WebXR, and NVIDIA Isaac. Hundreds of students learned to integrate world model and Unity development workflows.
PIXL was proud to be one of the main organizers of this incredible hackathon in San Francisco, in collaboration with XR Bootcamp and over 200+ hackers! Focusing on "world models" simulating real-world physics, this in-person event featured 40+ robots on-site, PICO devkits, and judges from Google, Meta, ByteDance, and Niantic.
PIXL is an intercollegiate community with university chapters. We host events at hackathons, conferences, and campuses across the country — plus virtual events so you can participate from anywhere.

Get in TouchPIXL made history at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco
We successfully organized a major trip to the Game Developers Conference. By securing $12,000 in scholarships, we brought 10 university women from across the nation to GDC, providing each of them with a free pass worth $1,200. This gave them the opportunity to engage directly with the global gaming industry and marked a massive milestone for our growing community!
